Physical card replacing


In case of loss or damage of a physical card, the Member should be able to replace it with a new one.

It is possible to replace only a physical card with a physical one. Card replacement functionality for virtual cards is not available.

The replaced card must be blocked, which can be done through the Mobile application on your own or by contacting the Call Center.

  1. The Member gets a new non-activated physical card;
  2. The Member logs into the Mobile application and goes through the authorization procedure;
  3. The Member goes to the Settings section, where the Member selects Card management, then selects My cards;
  4. The Member selects the Replace command with a previously blocked card;
  5. The Member enters the password from the Personal account and new card number; 
  6. The Member clicks ОК.

As a result, all information is transferred from the old LP card to the new one: application form details, linked phone number, Member's email, Member status and card category, amount of accumulations, operation history on the cardpassword from the Personal account, linked social networks, personal offers, and favorite products.

To prevent fraud in the process of replacing cards, it is possible to set a special лимит. It enables to limit the number of card replacement method invocations. This eliminates the possibility of iterating over card numbers.

Since the new card has a new number, the LP Member stops to participate in offers and target audiences if they have the Card list filter and the Member's old card number is added to it.
