QR codes

The QR code is used to identify the customer and customer's bonus card

A two-dimensional barcode is generated automatically in the LP Member's Personal Account and contains the following information:

  1. The card number of the Loyalty Program.
  2. The code that is valid for a limited period of time from the moment of generation.

Peculiarities of generating and using a QR code

  • A QR code is generated in the Personal account or Mobile app only in case if the Member's device is connected to the Internet. If there is no connection to the network, the last generated QR code will be displayed in in the Personal account or Mobile app.
  • The QR Code validity time is set in the System configurations. If the validity period of QR code has expired, it will be impossible to use bonuses.
  • It is possible to calculate discounts and bonuses using the expired QR code.
  • Since System version 2022.1 it is possible to set the number of symbols in a temporary code contained in QR code. The number of symbols in the temporary code is set in the System configurations. The minimum number of symbols in the temporary code is: 4, maximum: 20. Default value: 10. QR codes generated before the value of GeneratedQrCodeLength has been changed are valid until their validity time expires.

 Attention!

  • When a new QR code is generated, the previous QR code becomes invalid.
  • The System stores information only about the last QR code generated and the 10 previous generations. I.e. if the client has generated 11 QR codes, then when generating the twelfth QR code the information about the first QR code will be deleted from the System.
