CVC codes
The Loymax system has the ability to create issues of bonus cards with CVC codes.
CVC codes provide additional protection for bonus cards in case if the fraudsters gain access to card numbers. By entering the CVC code of the bonus card, the Customer confirms the physical existence of this card. As a rule, the CVC code of the bonus card is located on its back. The presence of the CVC codes for bonus cards and their lenth are set individually when creating each card issue in the Card issue section of the MMP. Thus, both bonus cards with CVC codes and bonus cards without CVC codes can exist in the system. When developing client services, it is necessary to consider this possibility. | ![]() |
Usage of CVC codes
If the bonus card has a CVC code, it must be entered for card linking to the LP Customer's profile or for card replacement. Thus, the LP Member can confirm that he/she really has a real bonus card. It helps to avoid fraud when fraudsters select card numbers for replacing or linking, in order to use accumulated bonus points of the LP Members.
Call Center
If the bonus card has a CVC code, then the Call Center Agent must enter it from the words of the LP Member during the linking or replacement of the card. The field for entering the CVC code appears after the Call Center Agent has entered the number of the new card, and the system has determined that this card has a CVC code.
Client services
If the bonus card has a CVC code, the LP Member must independently enter it when linking or in the process of replacing the bonus card in client services, for example, in the Personal Account.
